In 1950 TV Star Ralph Edwards told his production staff it would be wonderful if there was a city that liked his show enough to change their name to Truth or Consequences. Not long after the news was received by Hot Springs New Mexico the 1200 citizens voted to change their city name
It's still a small town but there are lots of nice things to see here.
