Elephant Butte
After all out sight seeing we were a little tired to we took a day off to rest up and get the rigs ready for our trip.
We took I-10 to Deming NM and then turned onto State Highway 27 which goes to Hatch which is the pepper capital of the State.
Our first stop was at Elephant Butte which has a lake with a rock formation resembling an Elephant.

Tomorrow we're going to Truth or Consequences a town which was made famous by TV Star Ralph Edwards.
