Our "Red Wrecker"The wrecker driver arrived at 8:00 am and got us all hooked up so we could go to San Angelo for repairs. We rode in the wrecker with him and he drove just like a professional driver.
We got to the repair facility about 1:00 pm and they said they would not be able to begin the repair job till the next morning. Also due to their insurance coverage we could not stay in the coach when they were not open. The Service Manager recommended a good, clean and reasonable motel that was not too far from us.
We came back the next day and were told they were going to have to remove the U joints, drive shaft and transmission and send it to another repair shop in Odessa to be fixed.
As it turned out we were in San Angelo for a little over a week waiting for the repairs to be completed. The bad part of the whole ordeal is that none of this is covered by a warranty, OUCH.
