Camping World New Braunfels

We made a short but beautiful drive through the Texas Hill Country to get the awning repairs done. We arrived a little after noon and were told that they would not be able to begin the work till the next morning. They took us to a spot where we had electricity and water so we could spend the night. They gave us the "code" to the main gate so if we wanted to go eat or something we could go and come as we pleased.

The next morning the service manager said he had some bad news for me, the awning they had ordered from Dallas was the wrong size and color and he had to reorder it. He was very sorry but there was nothing then he could do. As it turned out we were there for a total of four days getting all the work done. Oh well at least we had a nice spot to park and had electricity and water. I'm sure glad I had thought to dump my holding tanks before we left.

When I went to pay the bill the service manager said he was going to "comp" the installation cost since we had to stay there longer than planned. All I had to pay for was the cost of the awnings.
We had not only the awnings above the slide replaced but also had the main awning replaced too.

Since it was late in the day when we got all through, I asked the service manager if we could stay another night and leave in the morning, he said no problem, be his guest.
