A Visit With Granddaughters

Jerry, Megan and Morgan

Our granddaughters, Megan and Morgan came to visit friends in Houston, Texas and we drove over to see them. Due to the high prices of diesel fuel we decided not to take the motor home over there. Boy am I glad we didn't, there is a lot of construction and the drivers in Houston are not at all friendly. We almost got cut off a couple of times just getting to our motel.

We got settled in our room and went to see our granddaughters. They wanted to go to the Houston Aquarium and we did. I was really disappointed in it, it was a small one and not hardly worth the price of the tickets. You could see all of it in about thirty minutes easily.

After touring the Aquarium we went to one of the malls so Jerry and the girls could do a "girl thing". I sat down and waited for them.

Jerry has a Bridge partner in Houston she has never met so we called him and arranged to have lunch with him the next day before we went back to Bandera. His name is Richard and he seemed like a real nice person.
